INTERCESSION SERVICES
'AT METHODIST CHURCHES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Ghrlstohurch, October 28. The president of tho Methodist Conference (the Kev. J. Dawson) has requested all Methodist Churches in the Dominion to make Jiext Sunday a day of solemn thanksgiving and intercession, for which special orders have been printed. This brines the New Zealand Methodist Church into line with tho English Wesleyan Church, wliioli will hold similar services on Sunday.
Lady readers are reminded of an event of the utmost importance to them during the coming week. Messrs.
