Her Excellency the Countess of Liverpool desiros to tako this opportunity of thanking all thoso who so kindly contributed money, comforts, and other gifts through herself and Mrs. Pomare for the Maori Contingent. Four large cases woro dispatched at the beginning of the month, and it is hoped to send another consignment next month. ' : . . It is requested that those desiring to send further ,gifts should address them to "Her Excellency the Countess of Liverpool, Government House, Wellington," at tho same time marking the parcels "Maori Contingent"; ' while those desiring to send contributions in money should remit them to Mrs. Pomare, Western Hutt, Wellington. 1
