MR, G. P. DONNELLY ACTIVE. (By Teltlpraph.—Press Association.) Hastings, October 29. In corineotion with his suggestion's for settling soldiers on the land, Mr. G. P. Donnelly has sent the following telegram to tho Prime Minister:— "Have met Mr. Crosse, chairman County Council, and communicated ivith one or two of my local friends, who will go into matters fully and arrange details. Mr. Crosse will call a meeting of all those interested,_ and arrange a thoroughly representative committee. In the meantime, as suggested by you, I will find out the blocks most suitable on the East Coast, in addition to the blocks already named."
