The Bezonian filly Interlude was a good favourite in the Wilson Stakes (four furlongs) at the Waverley meeting, but after jumping out well, she failed to hold her position, and was unplaced. She was again saddled up in the Jackson Memorial Stakes (five furlongs), but again failed.
