Tho "Evening Standard" believes that tho suggested Cabinet, if decided upon, will include Mr. Asquith, Lord Buckmaster, Sir Edward Grey, Lord Kitchener, Mr. Balfour, Mr. Bonar Law, Mr. Lloyd George, Mr. Chamberlain, Mr. M'Kenna, and Lord Lansdoivne, the last-named without portfolio. RUMOURED RESIGNATION OF MR. CHURCHILL. (Itec. October 23, 10.30 p.m.) London, October 28. It is rumoured that Mr. Churchill is resigning liis scat in the Cabinet. It is noteworthy that ho was absent from the House of Commons when Mr. P. A. Molteno'fc question to him was formally put, inquiring what Mr. Churchill referred to in his Trafalgar Day letter, when he used the words: "Through our long delays the enemy has seized a now initiative in tho Near East." Sir It. A. Cooper, in tho House of Commons, raised the question of Lord Haldane's connection with the Administration, and hoped that His Lordship would be removed from the public service. Mr. Dillon (Irish Nationalist) said that the five months' campaign to drive Lord Haldaue out of public life has been one of the most disgraceful incidents of the war. Tho Government I did not reply.
