' The first load -of wool of the season was "landed at tho Carterton railway station on Friday niorning. It was brought in by Messrs. Hadley Bros.' motor lorry from Mr. J. Strang's Glenside Station. Other small consignments arrived during the^day. ; There has-been a great demand for the celebrated' Victor cheese vat (luring the past few months; anyone requiring, new yats are urged to write immediately to tho maker; as material is extremely short.
