'Another shipment, via Auckland, of 'American apples arrived, on tlie local market 'yesterday, ivhile tho-usual consignment of Fiji banana's arrived last Tuesday, both lines being in good' demand. The Australian .consignments of this week'are about 011 a par with those of last, - prices hoing, unchanged. Local gooseberries are to hand in small quantities. .Vegetalilds, especially cabbages, aro in " good; supply, ; values generally being easier. Old potatoes and onions are. unchanged, also ;fresii eggs.
