WELLINGTON SHAKE MARKET. A sale of Waihi shales at 375. was reported in the mining market yesterday. The quotations were as under:— Buyers. The mine superintendent of the Robs Goldfields reports as follows on the work at the mine for the week ending October 14:—No. 2 east drive has advanced <0 feet and the grade of the river aised. The wash hero has improved in value, some 3ft. of paywash now showing upon a rising terrace bottom. Blocking east and west off No. 12 south drive has been commenced at the junction of tho wash and clay formation. Blocking is proceeding off Nos. 7, 9, and 11 north drives.
