VICTORIA MILITARY HOSPITAL

CONTROL BY HOSPITAL BOARD. The following report of the Advisory Committee was adopted by t'ke Hospital and Charitable Aid Board yesterday "That the board takes over the control and management of tho Victoria Military Hospital, Dr. Morice's services to be retained under the general supervision of the Medical Superintendent (Dr. Barclay). The Government will pay the maintenance fee of £2 2s. per week of the patients. "Re Clifton Terrace Hospital for Chronic In fcilids.—Subject to being able to obtain. nurses for staffing this home, tho board undertake the whole control of the Clifton Terrace Hospital Homo for Aged Needy. That the Government retain tho amtrol and management 1 of the nursing staff at this home, it being understood that tho Government is providing, and paying these nurses."
