Taking-the round numbers of 2000 for infantry and 700 for mounted rifles, and' working .with thotfid of the district percentages issued by the Defence Department, ■ The Dominion gave approximate figures yesterday morning to show what is expected of every . district for the. next force to go into camp—the Tenth Reinforcements. Figures which .have Eilice becomo available show that the force is .to be a little under the 3000 l/reviously stated. The Mounted Rifles will number 624, the infantry 1800, and the total force 2776. .For the two main branches of the Force—the infantry and the moiiiitod— the districts have been called on lor Lueu in the following numbers:— Infantry.
