LATEST NOTES. The new men are settling down well in Trcntham Camp, and are reported to have taken very keenly to camp life. A branch of the Public Trust Otnco has been established ill t«Iio camp, and it? will be open for business from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays. Soldiers wills are made out free of charge. Applications may . be made to the chaplains of tlio various denominations, or left in the letter box at their respective of Tho 9th Reinforcements Mounted Rifles leave Trentham to-day, and proceed by rail to Tauherenikau Camp. Captain A. Beckman has reported at Trentliam, and will take up duties as temporary field engineer instructor following temporary appointments are approved of by the. Camp Commandant at Trentham: Pte. C. Jn. C Jones to be auart or master-sergeant, Headquarters Staff, Quartermaster s Stores (Electrical Department); Pt«. F. S, Cory, to be corporal, Headquarters Staff, Quartermaster's Stores.
