SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present, indications are lor strong southwesterly winds, veering to northerlica shortly, the barometer rising temporarily, but foiling in tlie south again by to-morrow overling. Eipect squally and changeable weather generally, with passing showers, especially in the West Coast and southernmost districts. Strong westerly and southerly winds have prevailed, and gales are still reported in parts south o£ Cook Strait. The weather has been changeable, with scattered bliowcrs, but stormy conditions have been experienced" about Foveaui Strait. Atmospherio pressure has increased everywhere.' D. 0. BATES.
