So that no misunderstanding ciln iirisa as a result of a reference regarding military supplies in yesterday's paper, tho Hon. A. M. Myers, Minister ill Charge of Munitions and Supplies, desires to point out that tho purchase of boots is under his control, but that lie has accepted tho expert advico of Mr. C. J. Ward, the result of a suggestion made by the Boot Manufacturers' Association of New Zealand.
