VICTORIA COLLEGE COUNCIL
The ordinary meeting of tlie Victoria College Council was 1 held last night. There were present Messrs. C. Watson (chairman), T. R. Fleming, W. Ferguson, It. A. Wright, A. R. Atkinson, C. B. Morison, W. S. La Trobe, Dr. C. Prendergast Knight, Professors Adamsoil and Rankine Brown, and tlio Rev. W. A. Evans. The registrar reported that Dr. Anson had been, returned unopposed to fill the vacancy oil the Council caused by the resignation of the Eon. A. L. Herdman. Amended regulations for the election of members of the Victoria University College Council by the various electoral bodies under the' Act of 1914 wore reviewed and approved.
