RECENT COURT-MARTIAL
I THE SENTENCES. (Br Telesraoli.—Press Association.) : Auckland, October 20. Sentences in, connection with, the 'court-martial'recently held at the Maori Camp have been announced. Corporal . J. M. Hopa, who was charged with desertion, was sentenced to tliirty days' detention, and derived of' his . stripes. Private Hon Mohi, who missed the .transport at Wellington through drunkenness, has been sentenced to 24 hours' detention- for absenting himself without leave. As ho has already done this period ho was permitted to return to the .ranks.
