"Important artillery duels took place on tiio Sonime region and in the Champagne district. A munition depot was exploded." London, October 19, 4.45 p.m. In .the course of the night three German grenado attacks at Bois en iiache, north-east of Soucliez, w©re repulsed by our infantry, winch wero solidly installed. "A hurricane of artillery on the enemy s batteries stopped an intense bombardment on our position at Sparges. . "A group of aviators bombarded the German aviation ground at Burlimcourt, north-east of Chateau Salins, oil the night of October 17-18. The hangars and shelters tvore visibly demolished."
