Hunt, who delivered missionary addresses. ..They continued lo sustain a deep interest in Homo and Foreign Mission work,, not only hy devoting the whole of the money collected —JM2 '2s. lOd. —to the fund, but by ■missionary competition and addresses. The report stressed tho importance of keeping alive tho social side of the school, while reference was also made to the successful working of various other departments. The number on flio Sunday school roll was 445, there being 34 tcachors and 26 primary helpers.
Mr. Bennett recalled tho fact tliat many of tho boys who had passed through the Sunday School had done good service in New Zealand. Olio was a Minister of the Crown in the present Government, and another the Hcv. J. A. Lusford, who had been wounded at the Dardanelles. '
The election of officers liatl resulted ai» follows:—Superintendent, Mr. 0. H. Larratt; secretary, Mr. Cyril Ficbig; assistant secretaries, Messrs. 15. Gardiner and Ernest Upton; missionary secretary, Mr. "W. B. Strong; musical conductor, Air. W. B. Strong; organist, Miss B. Brittain; assistant, Mr. B. Gardiner; pianist, Miss A. Bolton; auditor, Mr. J. Ivellow.
Features of the entertainment were the tableaux representations, which were as follow:—"Guardian Angels," "Garden of Lilies/' "The Ten Virgins." ''Presentation of Samuel in tile lemiile," "Tho Call of Samuel," "Jacob's Dream," and "Finding of Moses." besides the school clioir, which gave several enjoyable items, the following contributed to the concert- programme: —Misses V. Piper, M. Bennie, B. I)albritlge, D. M'Kennie, G. Strong, M. Ingorton, P. Basire, G. Burloy, T. Aibkon, and Masters H. Burley, A. Ciiit, H. Chapman, and H. Basire. The special services were held on Sua-, day lasv, the preachors_ being in the morning, the Rev. W. Shirer, afternoon, the llev. J. Richards ,aiul evening, Roy. J. G. Chapman. .
