EXTENSION OF CLOSING DATE.
Owing to the gTeat demand for tickets, and the fact tliat the books which were forwarded to Gis borne did not arrive Ull til .Saturday, it has been decided' to the closing date ..of the Southland Art Union for two more days: that is until Saturday next for the north Island: lesterday s enquiries for .tickets both by mail 'and personally .were so numerous, that the Wellington representative, Mr. Sutherland, deemed it advisable to extend the closing data. Those who wish to participate in the art union ahould avail themselves, of this opportunity of securing a house for 2s. 6d., or one of the 25 prizes that ar e on the list, ilr Sutherland states that <61300 was paid in for the tramway .candidate in Wellington tad there is. every likelihood of that sum being exceeded in this monster art union. The proceeds are in aid of the Now Zealand Wounded Soldiers' Fund. V
