SUNK BY A BRITISH SUBMARINE
END OF A GERMAN STEAMER. By TeleEraph—Press Association—Copyrighi (Roc. October 11, 11,15 p.m.) Copenhagen, October 11. The crew of tho German steamer lailea have landed at Falster. They reported that the British submarine'El9 torpedoed their vessel off the Gjedsor Lighthouse, after allowing sufficient time for the crew to take to the boats.
