Mr.' John Clegg, of Dunedin, who was stranded in Paris on the outbreak of war, and who after a series of hairbreadth escapes finally arrived back in New Zealand, will lecture on his experiences at the Town Hall Concert Chamber on Saturday evening next. The entire proceeds are in aid of tho Wounded Soldiers* Fund. Mr. Clegg pays his own travelling expenses, and takes no feo in payment of the lecture. The, Mayor will preside.
