It seems incredible that contingents of Natives should be allowed to leave our sliores while rtble-bodied pakelia young men,' with no encumbrances continue to hang round billiard saloons, picture stows, sports grounds, race meetings, hotel bars,^etc., a lazy, aimless life, devoted praotically, to Selfish ends, not assisting the Empire or their brave fellows at Gallipoli. Is the future of the splendid Native race to be jeopardised for the sake of the dodgers to refer? —I am, etc., A HELPER.
