Moana, stating that ho expected liis vessel to a.rrlvo at Wellington from San Francisco, via Papeete and Karotonga, at 3 a.m. on Thursday. The vessel will proceed on to Sydney at 5 p.m. on Friday. As, the Union Company's Patecna left Melbourne at midnight last Friday she'is due here to-day or to-morro.w The vessel will lay up here for overhaul. It is expected that the Oorinna -will leave for New Plymouth on Friday next.

Tlio Kumara' is due at Wanganui from Wellington to-day. Subsequently Waitara and Auckland will be visited, the vessel leaving the last-mentioned port for London, via Monte Video, on October 19. Flrom tirfs port the Hippie has ffono direct to Gisborne, instead of - Napier as usual. This alteration has been made in view, of the Hawke's Bay races on Friday, and Saturday next.
