A married man;-named Shirnick, while engaged in repairing a windmill at Wai-nui-o-mata yestcrday, was struck on the right elbow by tho wheel and sustained a compound fracture of the elbow. , He was removed to the Wellington Hospital for treatment. ~- , ' DEATH OF AN INFANT. . Montague, was found at Awanui. at-2 a.m. yesterday shot' dead, with a' mifror between iiis knees and a revolver in.his hand. At an inquest a verdict of suicide whilst temporarily insane was returned, r deceased was an Imperial Arriiy pensioner. He claimcd to be the Marquis do Pintle.
