These include a special type of mine-destroyer, trawlers,' and sea-going motor-boats armed with light guns, and aeroplanes. _ The statement is made that already sixty German submarines have been destroyed. A MONTH'S LOSS IN MERCHANT SHIPPING. (Rec. October 4, 0.5 a.m.) London, October 2. Twenty-seven merchantment', aggregating 85,000, tons, and - six fishing beats, were sunk by submarines during the month of September.
