Sho sustained a painful cut on lier left cheek, just under the eye, and some minor scratches, whilst one of lier shoulders was rather badly bruised. A soreness in the side, where she was struck by the car, gave rise to the fear that ono or more of her ribs had teen broken, but Dr. Henry's examination elicited that no bones wero broken. She recovered sufficiently to be removed to her home between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
