A CHANCE FOR YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN

•We have received from Messrs. Hemingway and Robertson's Correspondence Schools ; Auckland, a neatly got-up book-' let ontitled "The Call of the Empire." The booklet has been written as an appeal to young women, youths, and also men who, for' various reasons, are unable to join the Expeditionary -Forces. It- lays down a course of duty for these people, and shows how everyone" can, by tho exercise _ of a little determination 1 , and systematic work, benefit themselves and at the same time render a real arid lasting service to the Empire. Tim booklet gives details of Messrs. Hemingway and Robertson's • correspondence courses in commercial subjects, and par-' ticulars of a special fees reduction offer which closes in November. The booklet, which may be obtained on written application to the Director of Messrs. Hemingway and Robertson's Correspondence Schools, Union Buildings, Auckland, is well worth perusal, especially by those young people of both sexes ambitious to qualify; themselves for responsible positions in business or commercial circles.
