RIFLE-SHOOTING
Two teams of ton men each, representing the Wellington South branch of the National Reserve, tried conclusions with tho Miramar Reserve A and B Teams, on the Wellington College open-air range on Saturday afternoon. The weather was\ideal for shooting, and some good targets were registered. Tho contest resulted in a decisive win for Miramar, in both classes.' , Tho following were tho scoresMiramar A Team, 609 points; Wellington South A Team, 558 points . Miramar B Team, 493 points; Wellington South B Team, 400 points. The "possible" in each match was 700. , For t'he-winner's "A" team the best targets were:—Private Fox, 67; Major Townsond,. Privates Wilson and Eager, 65 each. . Lieutenant Haase, 66, and Sergeant Ayers, 67, were the best individual scorers for Wellington South A' Team. Lieutenant Fame and Corporal Brammall headed the list for Miramar B Team, with 62 points each; and Mr. H. Leah, 59, produced t'he best target for the loser's "B" team. ,
