Messrs. W. and Q. Ttrrnbull and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly tale in; their Waipoua (Mastertoh) saleyards on Wednesday. A good yardins of teheep and cattle came forward a 6 adveritised. The, sheep mot ,with keen competition, but cattle were very dull. A Rood clearanc6 - ; was made at . the following prices:—Sheep: Shorn fat wethers, 235. 3d.; fat shorn .wethers, 21s. .7d. to 245.; lat woolly ewes, 255. 6d.; forward two to fourtooth woolly ewes, 225. 6d.; two-tooth 'wether ewes,' 225.; store ewes, 17s. 9d. ; b.f. hoggets. 17s. "ICi.; medium, 155.; culls, 12s. Id. to 12s. lOd. Pigs, Weaners, 145,. 155., to 165.; Oattle:.rat cows, £9;-eighteen-month steers and heifers (low condition), £2; twoyear Hereford heifers (low condition), £3. •We also.sold on account of the'Woundod Soldiers" .Fund one sheep dog,' presented by J.
