EXTRA OFFICES OPENING: The Officer Commanding the Wellington Military District (Colonel Tate) was in Wellington oil Monday, and the Uty. The result is that Major Corngan announced yesterday that h? is taking steps, to open- central recruiting offices ui the City,- and offices- 111. some.-of. the suburbs.' 'Tho Buckle Street "office is rather, out of the way for many young men whose spare time is limited, so the intention is to open two additional offices in more central portions of the Citv Probablv an office will be opened at 'Newtown, too. Petono is to have a , recruiting office, and very likely there will be one at Lower Hutt. Major C-orri'Mirs idea is to have these offices and the staffs they require provided free of cost.
