EARORI GREEN OPENED, . The Karori-Bowling Club opened' its greon on Saturday, there being a largo attendance of. members and visitors, all dubs in tlie City ■ being represented. The president, Mr. Burn, the visitors; Mrs. Burn then threw tho jack, and the green was declared open. Afternoon tea was served by a committee of ladies, and later tho flowers and pot plants were sold by auction, and realised £11 55., which is to he added to the funds of the Second Hospital Ship.
