DEPUTATION TO THE MINISTER. (By. TelettraDh'.—Press Association.*: Inveroargill, September 27. , A deputation from the Southland Education Institute waited on the Hon. J: A. Hanan, Minister of Education, to "urge 1 that effect be given',to .the ireport of the Boundaries Commission regarding a reduction of the -number'of education districts. Misgivings had arisen, and .it was thought the last enactment in respect to this matter should not be gone on with. ." The Minister, assured l the deputation that the report would bo duk laid before Parliamentho would have • the support of Ministers in seeing "to that. The House last session committed itself to this' reform,'the advantages of which, from a- broad/ national standpoint, must commend themselves to all desiring advancement to be made ;in jour educa-tional-systein. Administrative efficiency as well as economy would he served by the change. .-■■■■ \
