Stiuaily and sho-wery condtions, with high Mstcrly winds, have ruled northward of Gishorne and. Kawhia, and a storm area has also passed, southward of tho Dominion, hut mild and fair weather hoe been experienced generally, though fogs were reported to-day on the East Co&st of the S'outfi Island.
