MILITARY TRAINING CLASSES

A daylight parade of members of ,the military "coaching classes now_ being conducted at Banks Commercial College was held on tlie reclaimed land at the north end of Waterloo Quay on Saturday afternoon. About forty, men were present, . and were put through about two and a half hours' work in platoon and company ' drill work, under the supervision of the instructor, Lieut. T. Davis. Invitations are being extended to 'the Kelbum and Thorndon units of the National Reserve to'parade with the class next' Saturday, • for the purpose of carrying out company movements in full strength. A number of men who' hivebeen attending the classes are now in camp at Trentham as,non-oommi6sioned officers, and report that they have • found liteir preliminary training exceedingly useful.
