OUR BRAVE MEN

— MESSAGE OF CONGRATULATION. In the House of Representatives yesterday afternoonth'e Prime Minister read the following telegram which he had received that day:— "London, September 22, 1915.— General Federation of Trade Unions congratulates New' Zealand on magnificent courage and achievement of her troops, and offers sympathy to relatives; of: all who have '(Signed) Appleton." "I think," said Mr. Massey, "that it is very satisfactory in these days, when we hear so much of_ dissension among the people of the British Empire, to have this proof from such a numerous body as the General Federation of Trades, Unions, of the interest they are taking in the oversea forces, and.of their devotion to the Empire."
