RIFLE SHOOTING.

ANNUAL MEETINGS. IvARORI CLUB MEETING. The annual meeting of the Karori IMo Club took place at the Bucklo Street Drill Hall on Tuesday; there being a good attendance, of members. Mr. H. Marshall presided. Iho annual report showed that tho club had had a record year in point of membership, its roll now jiuuihoring 117. Thirty-two members wero at present on active service. Of Wiese, three nave mot their deaths—Liout. L. Hu"o. Lieut. H. M. Inglis, and Q.M. G. J. G. I 1 aulkner. _ The club competed .very successfully in the various district rifle meetings, no fower than three championships being at the present timo in possession of tho club. Tho balancesheet showed a credit balance of £18 18s. 4d.

HIGHLAND RIFLE CLUB. \Tlie animal mooting of tho Highland itifle Club also took place on Tuesday. Mr. J. M'Donald presiding. Tho bal-ance-sheet disclosed a. credit balanco of £10. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Ldcut.-CoLonol Mackintosh;, Messrs. Reid and Reid, G. Wigliam, and K. Hunt wero elected additional vice-presidents; club president, o ; deputy-president, Mr. S. R. Shannon; secretary, Mr. G. Morison; treasurer, Mr. J. Cottcrill ; handicapper,' Mr. W. Conibear;. protest committee, Messrs. J. M'Donald, S. R. SJiannon-, and Sneddon. _ On the' motion of Mr.' Shannon it was decided that the various Wellington nile clubs be written to with regard to forming a "Wellington Rifle Association, a delegation of three members from each club, being suggested. Also that there Should be inaugurated a challenge shield for teams matches in the Wellington district. Tho mover donated £1 to that object.

SUBURBS CLUB. Hie annual meeting of the Suburbs Club was held ou Monday. The president, Mr. C. R.
