. — $- — A medal handicap was played by the M ir.imar Golf Club on Saturday for the Wounded Soldiers' Fund, and entrance fees amounted to .62 35., which has been sent to His Worship the Mayor. .The competition was won by C. H. Mirams, the best cavds being:—C. H. Mirams, 95— 20, 75; E. D. Kelly, 84-8, 76; L. S. Thompson, 91—14, 77; N. M. Chesney, 87—9, 78; W. E. Spencer, 80—12, 78; 11. L. I). Kidston, 79—scr., 79; E. P. Ward, gi—s, 79; W. E. lussell, 88-9, 79. The competition foT the club's Belgian Fund for a trophy given by Mr. A. Duncan, resulted as under:—W. E. H. Mackenzie (8), 2 up; S. R. Hornabrook (11), 2 up; It. L. D. Kidston (scr.), 1 up; it. P. Ward (4), lup; A. Woon (4), 1 up.
