SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for cloudy to overcast conditions generally witli rain particularly in the West Coast and. southern districts of tlie South. Island. In creasing northerly to westerly winds aro likely to prevail, with a. further decrease in atmospherio pressure. Fair'weather has prevailed in the East Coast districts, but cloudy skies havo ruled elsewhere to-day, and misty rain has been reported alone; the Western Coaet southward of New Plymouth.
