Mr.- Justice Evaas, President of the Admiralty Court, gave judgment regard- ! ing four Scandinavian vessels carrying cargoes for Copenhagen, which it was alleged were really' destined for Germany. , _ It was said the vessels had thirteen times the usual amount of goods for Copenhagen,' including hundreds of thousands of tins of canned meats apparently intended for the Gorman army. His Lordship deoided that the destination of the cargoes was tho German .army and navy, and confiscated the cargoes, except a small proportion, which was released. • This judgment affects forty-two vessels, also the shipments of many meatpackers, including the 'Armours, Swifts, and Morris.
