Cooper, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday to three youths named L. A. Doyle, Ralph M. Fisher, and Dudley C. Hitchcox, charged with obstructing the drill of tho Senior Cadets at Hataitai oii September 1. Tho youths' behaviour at drill was characterised by a defence officer as "particularly objectionable." The Magistrate warned the boys that if they repeated their behaviour they would be fined heavily. A fine of 10s., nitli costs 75., in default forty-eight hoars' military detention, was imposed. A similar penalty was imposed on Alexander John Bramley, charged with obstructing the drill of the Post and Telegraph Senior ,on August 27. This lad was also 6aid to have caused a great, deal of trouble, and was severely spoken to by the Magistrate. For failing to attend- drill, Clarence D. Sutherland was fined 10s., with costs 75., in default forty-eight hours' military detention, and Walter Henry Oerchiand Godfrey Jansen each fined 55.. or twenty-four hours' and Leslio Vincent Jackson and Bert Jansen wero convicted and .discharged. ..
