BURGLARIES AT ELTHAM
rLEA OP GUILTY ON SECOND CHARGE. By Telojraph.—Press Association. Eltham, September 16. 'At the Magistrate's Court this morning the two young mon,, William Keith and Sam White, were again before Justices of the Peace to answer a second charge of burglary at Wilkinson's store. The police offered no evidence against Keith, and tho charge was withdrawn. Hie evidence showed that White tunnelled ' under the store, _ and made an 'entry through a ventilator. Search made at White's house revealed groceries and drapery to the'value of £37 ss. 9d. Goods were found concealed in the tunnel' under the store to the value of £20 6s. Id.—£s7 lis. 10d. in all. At the conclusion of the evidence White pleaded guilty, and was committed for sentence. White is a married man with five children. Ho is in a bad physical condition, and is frequently taking fits.
