THE Gas Company begs to notify consumers and the General Public that no person is permitted .to. read or water meters, collect accounts, canvass for orders, execute work, or in any way represent the Company who does not possess the Company's written authority to do so. The production of this authority may bo demanded from any person purporting to act for or on behalf of the Company. . Persons falsely representing themselves as employees of the Company will be prosecuted. Tho Company earnestly desires the cooperation' of Gas Consumers and others in respect to the above in order to prevent fraud and misrepresentation by persons not in the employ of the Company. J. H.
