Allen, of Wellington, Captain (Dr.)'.'Kington Fyffe, who loft with the 4th Reinforcements and had'been at the Gallipoli front, states that at date of writing (August. 8) he had .been invalided to the -New Zealand hospital at Cairo with an attack of dysentery, and had previously undergone, an operation for the removal of a bullet.' He stated further that he was. getting along as well as he could expect. Private W. W. Mansfield, reported missing, probably killed, is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Mansfield, of Carterton.
