SOLDIERS' CLUB
A DUNEDIN PPvOJECT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Dunedin, September 15. Recentlv a number of old boys of the Otago High School formed themselves into a committee with the object of raising funds for the establishment of a Soldiers' Club in Dunedin, and negotiations were entered into for the purcliase'of the late Dr. Hocken's property in Moray Place. The chairman of the committee has received a letter from Jlr. William Patrick, who enclosed a cheque for the amount, which he understood was required to purchase the property. This ensures the success of the project, and all that remains to bo done is to raise funds for the furnishing and equipping of the club house, which is situated m the heart of the city and contains twelve large rooms, and comprises a quarter of an acre of land.
