PROTEST AGAINST APPALLING CRIMES. By Telegraph—Presp Asaoolation-Copyrtcht ('.'Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services.) London, September 13. The Armenians at Geneva have issued an appeal to the civilised world to moke an'effort to save tlie remnants of a martyr people. "The inhabitants of Armenia have been driven into the interior of Mesopotamia, and most of the able-bodied men have been massacred."' .The appeal protests against appalling crimes unparalleled in the history even of an age of barbarians. ("Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services.) (Rec. September 14, 5 p.m.) London, September 13. Eight hundred thousand Armenians have been deported from oae6area, Trebizond, Erzeroum, and other cities in Asia Minor, to the interior of Turkey. Hardly a third will reach their destination. The women and girls liave been sent to Turkish Tiarems, and babies from one month to two years old were aUotioned at Constantinople. •
