• REMINDERS. Lato letters for mails beyond the Dominion cannot in future be posted on the steamer, but must bo posted in the tatcletter posting-box at' the Ohief Post Office up to tho appointed time shown on the mail notice. The advertised time for closing mails by steamers are' liable. to alteration (earlier or later) at any moment. _ . _ The paTcel-poet mail, per Hfian Trunk express, closes at the 0.P.0. at 11.30 a.m., and for the south, per ferry steamer, at 5.45 p.m. Parcels for dispatch by steamers, and trains, with the exception of the usual ferry steamers for southern offices, close at the Ohief Post Office, Wellington, one hour before the advertised times of dosing of mails. ' ' ' All books and sample-packets and newspapers for places within the .Dominion must be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter-mail closes. ' . All the principal mails by train and steamer closc at Te Aro and Courtenay Place Post Office at the same hours as.at the Chief Post Office, with the exception that- there is no late fee clearance, and that mails by the ferry steamers for southern offices close at 5.45 p.m. Mails for Auckland and Auckland district, per second Main Trunk express, close at Courtenay Plate at 5.45 p.m. and Te Aro at 8 p.m. A.
