In connection with their purchases of wheat from the Government, -the millers ai'e threatened with' a loss of £8000, on ofFal left on their hands. When . the prices of bran, and pollard wero reduced, the miUowners notified the • State Government of tlioir intention to close down their mills because the Government would not stand in on- their mills because the Govornment would not-stand, in on tlieir loss.
