JEWEL ROBBERIES
RECOVERY OF SOME OF THE GOODS. . By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, September 10. Numerous jewel robberies have occurred in and around Dunedin in the last few months, as the result of which Frank Edward Martin. Reid appeared a c t Police Court on seven charges or theft from dwellings or breaking and entering. Reid had; niado a statement to the detective who arrested him which led to the recovery of over £200 worth o. watches, rings, purses, etc. Reid pleaded guilty, and said he had been tempted by want. He was committed for sentence.
