SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for strong and squally northerly and westerly winds, backing shortly to southerly in and southward o£ Cook Strait; Expect ckAidy, unsettled, and misty weather, . with rain generally. Barometer fall, but rise in tho south by to-morrow evening. Bloomy weather has ruled to-day, and rain, has hoen reported ill, the West Coast xlistricts.
