THE MAKING OF SANDBAGS
A SUGGESTION. (To the Editor.) Sir,— May I offer two' practical suggestions to the ladies now busily engaged in making sand-bags for "our boys" at the frout. If the bagging is exposed to tho sun, for an hour or it will become much softer, and therefore more easily sewn. To hold th e bag in position borrow a trouserpress, which will keep the edges together for sewing.—I am, etc., EDWARD L. LEES.
