' "A squadron of French aeroplanes bombed the station at Diouz end the aviation. camps at St. Kedaid." London, September 9, 2.10 a.m. "There is continued artillery activity. In tlio -Western -Argonne the enemy, after a bombardment with asphyxiating shells, launched'.im attack at several points, and gained a footing in the French advanced trenches, but were violently counter-attacked, and this new attempt to break the front miscarried "A French squadron of aviators bombed tho German military establishments at Frescaty and the etations at Sablons and Metz."• ' ~ FRENCH OFFICIAL COMMUNIQUE. The authorities ordered strict secrecy to be observed over the. attack.
